Caracas Metro Map
The Caracas Metro is the rapid transit system serving Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. It consists of five operational lines (Lines 1, 2, 3, 4, and 7) with additional lines under planning. The system began operation in 1983 with the opening of Line 1. As of 2023, the operational network spans approximately 54 kilometers with 47 stations and serves about 2 million passengers daily, making it one of the most important transportation systems in Venezuela. Despite economic challenges, the Caracas Metro continues to be a vital lifeline for the city's residents.
