Tokyo Metro Map
Tokyo Metro is one of the main rapid transit systems serving Tokyo, Japan, along with the Toei Subway, JR East, and other railway operators. Tokyo Metro operates nine lines: Ginza, Marunouchi, Hibiya, Tozai, Chiyoda, Yurakucho, Hanzomon, Namboku, and Fukutoshin lines. The system began operation in 1927 with the opening of the Ginza Line, making it the oldest subway in Asia. As of 2023, the Tokyo Metro network spans approximately 195 kilometers with 180 stations and serves about 7.2 million passengers daily, making it one of the busiest subway systems in the world.
